Give the gift that stays with babies from their earliest days right through their childhood, with a soft toy from the Argos range. There’s nothing cosier for babies than having a cuddly friend to play with and snuggle into for comfort, and with cuddly favourites in the Argos range there are plenty of plushie toys and teddy bears to choose from that kids will love for years to come. Find their first best friend in our range of teddies, designed to keep them entertained and always with a companion.

These compact cuddly toys are engineered to fit tiny hands and allow babies to fully form a connection with their new fluffy friend and remain sensory stimulated. Explore the range of multi-texture toys that include crinkly ears and smooth satin to assist their cognitive development as they learn by feeling. Emotional development is very important, so giving your newborn a comforting popular animal toy to sleep and travel with helps babies feel safe and secure no matter the environment.

Find a soft toy to stay through generations

You can never replicate or replace the bond a baby forms with their favourite childhood soft toy, but when the day eventually comes that they outgrow it you can count on the premium quality characters sticking around for future generations. Whether it’s as a keepsake, ready to play with the next sibling, or even kept around for the eventual grandchildren, make sure to find a home for these soft toys that grow such sentimental value.

The Argos soft toy range is manufactured with safe hypoallergenic fabrics to provide comfort for delicate newborn skin. You can also find gently weighted teddy bears to provide comfort for restless babies who need some extra-soothing pressure to eventually get some rest.

Iconic characters for cuddling and shelf-sitting

Childhood storybook favourites such as Peter Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh, and the Gruffalo are available as a piece of nostalgia for you to pass on to the next generation. You can aid their learning by growing their excitement in a famous character before introducing them to the tales of their adventures.
