Ohio high sleeper

We have identified a safety issue with the ladder supplied with the Ohio High Sleeper and are asking customers to stop using the ladder immediately and avoid using the bed without the ladder.
In a small number of cases customers reported rungs/steps on the ladder rotating even after retightening or rungs/steps on the ladder becoming detached
The ladder has the potential to cause injury if the rungs/steps rotate or detach.

What do I need to do?

Stop using the ladder immediately, and avoid using the bed without the ladder. Please remove the ladder from the reach of children and dispose of it safely.

VYPE ETANK PRO Starter Kit

At Vype our consumers are central to everything we do and we never compromise on quality or safety.
A small number of consumers have brought to our attention some issues with their Vype eTank Pro device. These issues relate to the potential for the battery to short circuit in particular product batches, which may pose a fire risk.

If you purchased a device or a standalone battery for Vype eTank Pro which has one of the product codes listed below, we ask you to return your Vype eTank Pro or the standalone battery you purchased to us so we can replace it for you. The quickest way to do this is to contact us by email at etankpro@govype.com or alternatively, you can contact us by phone at 0800 520 0150.

Unscrew your clearomiser from you Vype eTank Pro battery.

Locate the product code from the top of the battery.

WHIRLPOOL AKM 274/IX GAS HOBS

Whirlpool has launched a product safety campaign to rectify a small number of gas hob appliances sold in the UK.
This affects Whirlpool branded stainless steel, built-in gas hobs with the model number AKM 274/IX. The affected appliances were manufactured between September 2014 and March 2016. The corresponding Argos catalogue number is 477/7731.
Due to a technical issue in manufacturing, these appliances were produced with the wrong type of gas injector in the front left corner. The front left burner may emit levels of carbon monoxide above EU standards which could, in very rare usage conditions, present a low risk of adverse health effects through inhalation. There have been no reported incidents involving these products. Investigations have confirmed that the issue does not present a risk of fire or explosion.
Whirlpool apologises for any inconvenience caused and is currently contacting all consumers directly who have registered ownership of these products to inform them of this product safety campaign.

What do you need to do?

All consumers who own this appliance should visit //www.whirlpoolservice.co.uk/safety-notice or contact Whirlpool’s customer care team on 0800 316 3885 to check if the model number (and serial number) of their appliance is involved in this product safety campaign. Consumers can select a convenient time for an engineer to visit their home free-of-charge.
As a precautionary measure, consumers who own these products are advised not to use the burner in the front left corner until it has been modified by a Whirlpool engineer. All other burners are unaffected and may continue to be used as normal in the meantime.

ELC is undertaking a voluntary recall of the ELC Jungle Fun Ball Run as there is a chance the product may collapse. This toy was sold in ELC, Mothercare, Argos stores and on the ELC, Mothercare and Argos websites from July 2016.
This product was also available through a number of different retail outlets, please contact them directly for a refund if you did not purchase this item through Argos.

HP have identified an issue with some HP batteries whereby they have the potential to overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to customers.
We've identified that the following two HP Pavilion models sold from December 2015 through December 2017 have been affected:

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

It is essential to check your battery. Please go immediately to the HP Battery Recall website at //www.hp.com/go/batteryprogram2018 to check if your battery is affected by this expanded recall program.
Please note that these batteries are internal to the systems, which means they are not customer replaceable. Customers should not remove them on their own. HP will provide battery replacement services by an authorised technician for each potentially affected battery at no cost. Please visit their HP Battery Recall website for further information.

CAN I CONTINUE TO USE MY PRODUCT?

HP has developed a BIOS update for customers whose battery is affected by this recall program that will put the battery into "Battery Safety Mode". Customers should discontinue use of batteries affected by this recall program immediately by placing it in Battery Safety Mode. Once the battery is put into Safety Mode, customers may continue to safely use their notebook or mobile workstation by connecting to an HP power adaptor. Hygena Angel Chair

We have identified a safety concern where, in a small number of cases, the glue which holds the chair legs together is failing and causing the chair to break.

JAKKS Pacific (UK) Ltd. takes safety very seriously and is voluntarily recalling some LEGO® Batman Movie Prestige costumes Catalogue Number 612/6885 because we discovered a manufacturing defect that results in the material not meeting strict fire safety standards.
No incidents have been reported.
The recall is for a small number of the LEGO® Batman Movie Prestige costumes with Date Code 2606EF01 printed on the front of the sewn label (located in the rear neckline) under the barcode. Only costume style numbers 23742G (Size L, 10-12), 23742K (Size M, 7-8) & 23742L (Size S, 4-6) with Date Code 2606EFO1 are affected.
