A safety issue has been identified with the Razor Ripstik Electric Caster Board (cat no. 543/2264). The rear wheel can stop rotating while the caster board is in use, having the potential to cause injury.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

If you have a Razor Ripstik Electric Caster Board then stop using it immediately and request a free, easy to install repair kit from Re:creation including your name and address.

Currently no direct replacement is available.

The supplier has made us aware of a design fault with the above product.

It has been bought to our attention that in certain circumstances, when the button battery is removed from the product, the battery cap can become a projectile and the batteries chemicals can leak, posing a risk of chemical and injury hazards.

As a precaution Character Options has taken the decision to recall and replace the product.

Grow & Go 2 in 1 Sit 'n' Scoot – Cat number 264/9555

It has been brought to our attention that in certain unusual circumstances the push button mechanism which converts the Grow 'n' Go 2 in 1 Sit & Scoot from a ride on to a scooter (and vice versa) could pose a potential finger entrapment hazard for small children.

What you need to do

MV Sports & Leisure Limited have taken the decision to recall this product. We would be grateful therefore if customers could return the product immediately to Argos for a full refund.
The product can also be identified by a batch code which is printed on a sticker affixed to the underside of the frame next to MV's address details. The batch codes are: 6587/1

Chad Valley Pipsie the Interactive Horse (Catalogue Number 404/6510) - Purchased prior to 1st September 2016

A fault has been identified where the apples could break apart and release the internal magnet. This is a choking hazard and if ingested could lead to internal injuries.
Please note that there have been no reported customer incidents.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

If you have a Pipsie the Interactive Horse please remove the Apples immediately and dispose of them with normal household waste.

141224 ELC Giant Wooden Activity Cube & H2668 Mothercare Giant Wooden Activity Cube

A potential quality issue has been identified with the ELC Giant Wooden Activity Cube (catalogue number 413/5036) and the Mothercare Giant Wooden Activity Cube (catalogue number 397/3938). The products may have been exposed to damp or humid conditions, which could lead to mould forming.
In response, Early Learning Centre and Mothercare are recalling all activity cubes with batch codes GJ09-15-D1 for the ELC product and with batch code GJ11-15-D1 for the Mothercare product. These were sold in Early Learning Centre stores, Mothercare stores or online through Argos stores.

This recall only affects the products with the batch codes shown and no other activity cube or other Early Learning Centre or Mothercare product is affected.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

We are instructing all customers to return the item to your nearest store where you will receive a full refund.

We have become aware that in a small number of cases Beanstalk & Chad Valley Musical Band sold at Argos may have a manufacturing defect.

The mouthpiece on the trumpet can become detached presenting a choking risk to small children.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

If you have a Beanstalk or Chad Valley Musical Band, PLEASE STOP USING THE TRUMPET IMMEDIATELY and contact Argos Customer Services on 0800 389 0278 between 9am–5pm Monday to Friday to arrange for a replacement trumpet to be sent to you.
We have made a modification to the trumpet which makes the connection between the trumpet and the mouthpiece much stronger.
No other part of the musical band, Chad Valley or Beanstalk products are affected by this notice.
