Any parent will tell you that when you’re out and about with a baby you need a surprising amount of things with you, especially if you’re going to be out for an extended period of time: nappies, nappy sacks, changing mat, baby change mat, wipes, spare clothes, maybe even a toy or two to keep them occupied. Oh, and a spare blanket just in case. A bottle of milk...just going into town for a couple of hours can feel like an expedition. So, it makes sense to keep everything ordered and easy to carry in a changing bag. With plenty of space and compartments to separate out everything, these are essential bits of kit for any parent with a baby or toddler. To make changing time easier at home we also have a range of changing tables where you can keep all your essentials stored for easy access when you’re getting them cleaned up.
As you baby grows then nappies start to be used up at a slower rate, and eventually it’s time to begin potty training. Get them a baby potty for the early months, but as they get bigger and leave nappies completely behind it can be nicer for them to use a baby toilet seat, which fits to the family toilet. That way they feel like a grown-up but don’t have to worry about perching on the edge of the seat and potentially making a mess.
When wipes just aren’t going to get your baby clean then it’s time for a bath. Fill up your baby bath with warm water (some baths come with a sensor that tells you the temperature of the water, so you can be sure it’s just right), and try adding one of our baby bath seats to give them support while you get them cleaned up. Bath time should be fun not fraught so don’t forget a bath toy to keep them distracted while you clean behind their ears and wash their hair.
