Bought three of these blinds for a bedroom bay window and they are great value for money. At night, from the outside you can see light around the edges of the blind but that does depend on how close the edges of the blind have been fitted to the window surround. The same applies to the inside during the day, light can be seen at the edges but the blind itself does blackout the light.

40 inches = 101.6cm, so the 120cm width blind would be suitable as you can cut it down to size; 66inches = 167.64cm, so the 180cm width blind would be suitable, cutting down to size.
