About this product
Block out unwanted light with this blackout roller blind that keeps your room completely dark for sleep or lazy mornings. The cloud grey fabric blocks light from streetlamps, car headlights, and early sunrise, ensuring undisturbed rest. It measures 90cm wide by 160cm drop and can be trimmed to fit your window. The mechanism fits either side, working with any window setup. For child safety and compliance, always fit P clips or cleats to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.
The blind comes with all the fixtures and fittings you need, plus clear instructions that make installation straightforward. It's tested and safe to the 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, so you can fit it with confidence. The P clip included keeps the chain secure and out of reach for child safety. You can mount it inside or outside your window recess or directly to the wall, giving you flexibility with placement. It's wipe clean, so maintenance is simple and hassle-free. Bought this to replace my previous blind and to be honest I thought it was flimsy, the metal roller bar was very thin, the attachments kept falling every time I tried to fit it into the wall brackets. I wouldn’t buy one of these again.

I bought the 60cm blind to fit onto the back of a glass panel internal door to block light coming into a bedroom. It was easy to fit and just about covers the glass. I found this blind was a quick and economical solution. The blind itself works well, but feels quite thin and fragile. I would recommend it's good value for the low price paid.

The Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm (708/4971) can be significantly trimmed in width to fit smaller windows, often up to 10–14 cm or more in total, as long as the fabric does not catch on the mechanism. The aluminum roller tube and fabric can be cut using a hacksaw and sharp scissors.

The width measurement includes both the fabric width and the brackets.
The allowance for the brackets is 3cm in total and the blind requires 19mm fittings.
For the actual width of the blind, please subtract 3cm.
The item is supplied with 4 standard 30mm screws.
