About this product
Block out all external light with this blackout roller blind that gives you complete darkness whenever you need. It's perfect for lie-ins, naps or shift workers who sleep during the day, keeping light from streetlamps, cars and early sunrises outside. The cloud grey shade brings a calm, neutral tone to your window that suits any room style. It's easy to install, with fixtures included, and you can trim it to size for the perfect fit. The mechanism fits either side, giving flexibility for your window layout.
The blind comes with a P clip that keeps the chain secure and safe, meeting 2014 blind safety standards. It fits inside or outside your window recess or mounts directly to the wall, giving you options that suit your space. The fabric is wipe-clean, so maintenance is simple and practical. Any creases from packaging should drop out naturally after 48 hours. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Not great brackets for an easy install
I was disappointed in the brackets, they are quite small and not very sturdy, compared with the brackets of blinds I have had installed. Attaching them, particularly the one that the mechanism attaches to, has proved very difficult to mark the required holes for the screws and gives very little access to a screwdriver. To date I have been unable to install the blind due to these difficulties.

based on the product details I have, this blind can be trimmed down to size, so a 163cm window width should be fine. The listed size is W180cm including fittings and W177.5cm excluding fittings, so you'd be trimming more than a small amount, but the product does say it is easily trimmed to size.
