About this product
Block out all light with this blackout roller blind that keeps your room completely dark, no matter how bright it is outside. The deep indigo shade creates total darkness, so you can sleep in, nap or enjoy a late lie-in without sunlight, streetlights or car headlights disturbing you. It has a chain mechanism you can mount on either side to suit your space, fitting neatly inside or outside your window recess. To ensure child safety and comply with health requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.
The blind comes with all the fixtures and fittings you'll need, plus clear instructions that make installation straightforward and simple. You can trim it down to size if it's slightly too big for your window, which gives you flexibility without needing a professional fitter. It's tested to the 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, so you can trust it meets the latest safety requirements. The fabric wipes clean easily, and any creases from packaging should drop out naturally after 48 hours.

Hard to fit!
We really struggled to fit this blind. We have previously bought made-to-measure but they are expensive. We definitely saved money as this blind was very cheap but was it worth the hassle of cutting and fitting ourselves... no definitely not. You get what you pay for.

based on the product details I have, this blind can be trimmed down to size, so a 163cm window width should be fine. The listed size is W180cm including fittings and W177.5cm excluding fittings, so you'd be trimming more than a small amount, but the product does say it is easily trimmed to size.
