About this product
Block out light with this blackout roller blind in deep indigo for complete darkness whenever you need it. Perfect for midday naps or long lie-ins without disturbance from streetlights, cars or early sun. The fabric delivers total blackout, letting you control daylight entry. Fixtures, fittings and clear instructions are included for straightforward installation. The mechanism fits either side of the window, and the blind can be trimmed to size. For child safety and compliance, always fit P clips or cleats to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.
The chain mechanism is made from durable plastic that operates smoothly every time you raise or lower the blind. It fits inside or outside your window recess or straight to the wall, giving you flexibility with placement. The blind is tested to the 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, so you can be confident it's safe for your home. It's wipe clean, which keeps maintenance simple and hassle-free. Any creases from packaging should drop out naturally after 48 hours once it's hung.

Hard to fit!
We really struggled to fit this blind. We have previously bought made-to-measure but they are expensive. We definitely saved money as this blind was very cheap but was it worth the hassle of cutting and fitting ourselves... no definitely not. You get what you pay for.

I bought this last week. Paid and picked it up the same day. Was worried that it was going to be rubbish because it was cheap - it is perfect. It was easy to fit and covers the area I wanted perfectly. It covers a sunny window and blocks the sun well. There is a reflective surface on the back, so the blind reduces the heat coming through more than the last one we had as well.

based on the product details I have, this blind can be trimmed down to size, so a 163cm window width should be fine. The listed size is W180cm including fittings and W177.5cm excluding fittings, so you'd be trimming more than a small amount, but the product does say it is easily trimmed to size.
