Not put it up yet but fittings seem pretty straightforward. Bought just for a little extension used as a utility room and should keep the worst of the sun out. Not thermal but owt is better than nowt on a tight budget.

I bought this for my new flat Lounge window where a Curtain Pole wouldn't fit. I am delighted with it as the colour was the perfect shade of Grey and it not only blocked out the strong sun we have had this summer, it kept the room cool,allowed me good privacy and the pull cord mechanism is so smooth and easy to operate with my arthritic hand. It also has great surface which is easy to clean with a damp cloth and does not fray at the edges.

based on the product details I have, this blind can be trimmed down to size, so a 163cm window width should be fine. The listed size is W180cm including fittings and W177.5cm excluding fittings, so you'd be trimming more than a small amount, but the product does say it is easily trimmed to size.
