About this product
Block out light completely with this blackout roller blind that keeps your room dark whenever you need it. The slate grey shade adds a modern, neutral touch that works with any decor, while the fabric roller design gives you total control over light and privacy. It's perfect for bedrooms where you want to sleep undisturbed, whether you're catching up on rest during the day or enjoying a proper lie-in at the weekend. The blind measures 120cm wide with a 160cm drop, and you can easily trim it down to fit smaller windows if needed.
The mechanism fits either side of the window, working with your space and layout. It includes all fixtures and fittings to mount inside or outside the recess, or directly to the wall. The PVC bottom rail keeps the blind stable and smooth when raised or lowered. It's wipe clean for easy maintenance, and creases from packaging should drop out within 48 hours. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Bought this to replace my previous blind and to be honest I thought it was flimsy, the metal roller bar was very thin, the attachments kept falling every time I tried to fit it into the wall brackets. I wouldn’t buy one of these again.

I bought the 60cm blind to fit onto the back of a glass panel internal door to block light coming into a bedroom. It was easy to fit and just about covers the glass. I found this blind was a quick and economical solution. The blind itself works well, but feels quite thin and fragile. I would recommend it's good value for the low price paid.

The Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm (708/4971) can be significantly trimmed in width to fit smaller windows, often up to 10–14 cm or more in total, as long as the fabric does not catch on the mechanism. The aluminum roller tube and fabric can be cut using a hacksaw and sharp scissors.

The width measurement includes both the fabric width and the brackets.
The allowance for the brackets is 3cm in total and the blind requires 19mm fittings.
For the actual width of the blind, please subtract 3cm.
The item is supplied with 4 standard 30mm screws.
