DISAPOINTED
Bought this as a replacement. the old blind measured 2 foot excluding brackets, this blind is advertised as 2 foot BUT the blind is less than this. in total with the brackets its 2 foot. Fixing is not easy at all, once the brackets are screwed in very difficult to fit the blind. would not recommend.

roller blinds
Bought these blinds to cut down and block out the sun in the evening. Easy to cut and assemble but the internal springs on the first two were a fraction too big stopping the blinds to operate. The tails at the end of the springs were too long and jamming the blinds therefore stopping them from operating. I shortened them a tiny bit to cure the problem. The third blind was OK. They are very good at blocking the sun.

Good blinds for sun blocking
Good quality blinds, very easy to put up and trim if needed. Dark enough to block out the sun, it has a light mechanism and fairly good quality material.

Heatwave blocker.
I use this under a skyroof cover to block the sun in the conservatory and it works! Love how the aluminium side blocks heat from the sun.

Hello Jono
I can advise the following for:
Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm.
The Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm (708/4971) can be significantly trimmed in width to fit smaller windows, often up to 10–14 cm or more in total, as long as the fabric does not catch on the mechanism. The aluminum roller tube and fabric can be cut using a hacksaw and sharp scissors.
