Removed after 3 nights use.
I brought this to replace a long lasting electric blanket, that finally failed me. This blanket has straps to keep it in place on the bed. It has only one controller for the double sized blanket. I found this blanket quite uncomfortable and could feel the heating wires when I was laying on it. Also the bottom end of the blanket has a zip and this also can be felt (quite raised). The overall comfort was therefore poor. I did make allowances as I knew that this would feel different to my older blanket, however during the 3nd night I gave up trying to get comfortable and removed it. It is now reassigned to a guest sofa bed mattress, for occasional use if required. I cannot recommend this blanket and will seek a more expensive one in the future.

For 'all night use' (but NOT when you're in bed!)
Totally misleading description.... Again! I chose this electric blanket specifically because it had a timer that can be set for 1, 5, 8 or 12 hours and is advertised on the website as being suitable for all night use. It's only when you buy it & read the instructions leaflet that you discover it says you should NOT have it turned on whilst you are in bed! And also, doing so would invalidate the warranty! This is the 3rd time I've bought an electric heating blanket from Argos & the 3rd time I've had to return it because it's not as advertised. I think Argos must be using AI for their product descriptions..... and it's a lesson in how not to do it. After 3 total failures, I've completely given up on Argos now & have bought what I needed from Lakeland.

Very good, can choose from 4 different time lengths. 9 heat levels. The only downside is trust the lights are bright so you have to cover it up!

Multiple setting & timer switch off.
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. This replaced a different brand, this one has more settings plus a timer to switch itself off. We only ever set it on the one hour which is plenty of time to make a cosy bed. There are separate setting for body & feet, so if you’re someone who suffers with cold feet this is ideal.

Good blanket
Bought this recently for my teenage daughter who seems very pleased with it. She likes being able to adjust the warmth separately for her feet and body. I like that the blanket has top layer that can be removed for more regular washing. Easy to fit to the bed. Only niggle from my perspective is that despite the timer/auto-turn off function (four timer settings) this blanket should be turned off before the user gets into bed (i.e. not designed for user to be in bed with the blanket on and set to go off after 1 hour for example).

The photo that shows 2 controls is for a king size electric blanket, the listing you are enquiring about is for a single bed, If you are purchasing for a king size bed then it will come with 2 controls.

The pictures show 2 controls but when I took it home I realised that it only had 1 controller for the whole blanket not 2 heat zones and controllers as shown in pictures
