A great buy, worth the money
I love it. Have avoided an electric blanket for many years. Did not like the idea. But colder nights made me change my mind. And so many people were telling me to get one. I paid full price for this (sadly as its reduced by a about a third since!) but I needed it when I needed it so hey ho. The other thing putting me off was the feeling of wires - vague childhood memory from when I stayed with a relative). This blanket is on the pricier end and I'm glad I went for one that has a thicker top. It was SO comfortable. Also, although the whole thing is washable with care, the top bit can be zipped off and washed separately which will be much more straightforward. You heat it up and set your timer before getting in bed - 5 or so minutes, then set it to 0 once you're in bed. It genuinely stayed warm and cosy for the whole set time. My husband said his side didn't but once he'd done it properly instead of doing his own thing, he was hooked to. Worth the money, especially if you are a bit like the princess and the pea.

Comfortable and cosy.
We are very pleased with this underblanket. It is comfy and cosy to sleep on and a good fit for our king size bed. Minor negative points are that the elastics going under the mattress are a bit long even for our deep mattress and would benefit from being adjustable. And the heat settings return to 9 on switching on, and not the previous setting. This means that if you need a quick top up during the night you have to scroll through the settings to get to a low heat.

A great purchase
I bought this electric blanket a couple of weeks sgo. I like the fact you can have feet or body or both warm. Heats up really quickly and you can vary the time you use it. Stays put on the mattress with the straps that go under the bed. Easy to use controls. Sleeping better to as not getting cold.

Efficient bed warming
This works well for pre-heating and also keeping the bed warm. Note that it is designed to be an underblanket and not to be used on top of the sleeping person - this is not clear in the description.

Poor performance
I bought this blanket to replace my very old one, I did lots of reading reviews and decided on this one. Whilst it looks the business, it is lovely quality, it's very underwhelming on the heat side. In fact compared to my previous blanket tepid, is the word for the heat at level 9. Very disappointed.

My electric blanket died after about 8 years. Good innings! Had this same one before. Looked to see if there was better out there, but there isn’t. So purchased the same one again. The others have reviews showing long times to heat - & need to plan early & put on half hour before using. That won’t work for me..I like heat in 5 mins.. & this is still the best out there. Very nice to have a new one, love it still as much. What else can you really expect from it?! Unless it makes a cuppa tea in the morning for you too - don’t see how it can be beaten! Perfect. Thanks.
