Great blanket but cannot pre set
Cozy blanket that works well and really economical. Only disadvantage for me is that you cannot set the temperature or zones whilst blanket is off. On power on the blanket defaults to full on for one hour. So setting up on a timer or with Blink you need to bear this in mind

Great Electric Blanket
After using this electric blanket for a few weeks now I love it. Very comfortable. Heats up quickly. Connected it to a smart plug so if I'm out I can turn it on and it's ready waiting nice and warm for me after a Winter night out.

Not quite super-king!
This is advertised as fitting a super-king sized bed, but it only fits well widthwise. Our previous electric blanket was fitted and covered the whole mattress, whereas this one does not cover the pillow area. This means that the cable junction is right next to your head. In addition, it takes a long time to heat up even on maximum, so it is hardly worth switching on if you have forgotten to go up one hour beforehand. Once it warms up, it is ok.

I've given 2 stars for a product I returned as 'not fit for purpose' because you can rely on Argos to always take back a purchase with minimum fuss. I bought the electric blanket in question to keep me warm at night but, in fact, the instructions from Slumberdown, said it was to be used only to pre-warm the bed. I've only given 1 star for quality, comfort etc because I had to tick something - I never used the blanket.

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace one of another Brand, which I had bought on Amazon and had to return as “faulty and stained” I have to say, I am delighted with the brand Slumberdown as the blanket heats up quickly and maintains the temperature for either body or feet until the timer turns the blanket off. The only observation I would make is that the blanket does not reach the edge of the length or width of the double bed. I would recommend the Brand and this blanket.
