Can not sleep without it anymore
I bought it 2 weeks ago and I am so happy with it. Now I don’t have to freeze when going to bed because my bed gets so warm with it. I also don’t have to heat the room anymore because my bed is warm. And it is really soft and cozy to lay on it.

Really good quality blanket. I like the fact that it is a good size and goes to the edge almost unlike other blankets I have tried. Also great that you can heat the whole blanket or you can choose to heat the feet end or top end separately. Heats up quickly too and is comfortable to lay on. It has a cushioning feel so it doesn’t seem like your laying directly on top of wires. No issues and I’m glad I chose this one.

Electric blankets have been around forever, but the Argos catalogue was so easy to understand that I was able to select one that had a simple timer, but which could be left on all night if the timer wasn't set. Ideal, when considering the person to whom I was giving the blanket.

Best way to warm a bed
Have had the same under blanket on another bed and it works wonderfully. There is a timer as well as separate heat controls for top and bottom of the bed, and a zip-off cover. Have to be careful positioning the points where the cable enters the blanket since this can be uncomfortable to sleep on. Having a warm bed has revolutionised bedtime.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Slumberdown Perfectly Warm Luxury Electric Blanket - Single: The current standard recommendation is you use the blanket to pre-heat your bed and turn off once you get in.
This is a caution warning to avoid user falling asleep while the banket is still on the highest heat setting.
You can still use a heated blanket while you’re in bed, the warning message is there to make you aware that the blanket should be switched off or lowered to the lowest heat setting before you drift off to sleep.
