This leaked the second time I used and the water tasted awful, I returned it and on inspection by the staff it looked as if it had been glued, hence the taste. Changed for a different make and model. There should be more stringent pre sale checks.

Purchased this stainless steel/black kettle to blend with my kitchen. Used it for a few weeks now and all seems good. The outside of the kettle gets very hot when newly boiled and full. Not too much of an issue as the handle is not hot and pours well. Looks good and lighter than my last one.

Well balanced and shiny perfection
Half the price of my previous trusty Dualit kettle which lasted 10yrs+.. so we shall see. I have RA so needed a lighter more balanced kettle. It feels easy to manage and fill one handed, the lid opens and shuts lightly. The minimum cup capacity is good and boils very quickly. Boil blue light is a nice visual reminder. Quieter than my last kettle, the boil baffle plate inside may be the effective feature for that but not sure how easy to keep free of limescale overtime. Pouring spout is excellent and accurate.

Best kettle I ever had.
Really pleased with this kettle. Not only does it look good but also boils quickly and quietly. Easy to see quantity gauge - I like how it turns blue when boiling. Also ample capacity and splash free pouring system. It was worth the money.

A Great Kettle
A well balanced kettle when empty or full. The handle feels strong and secure, allowing confident controlled pouring and it's spout doesn't dribble when pouring the boiled water. The On/Off leaver is robust. The thumb button on the handle top flips the lid open wide enough to allow easy filling from modern curved kitchen taps. The window clearly shows how much water is in the kettle and the blue light when on is pleasing. It's a nice looking kettle shape in stainless steel and makes the kitchen look contemporary. Very pleased

It's just about ok
I bought this kettle to replace a Russell Hobbs kettle, which was great but old. This kettle is a LOT smaller with, it seems, less capacity. The opening lid does not seem to like opening fully when the button is pressed which is a bit of a faff. It feels like the spring needs to be stronger. However it does boil quickly as stated. The blue lighting works, and the filter can be replaced. In hindsight, I would have chosen a more robust make / model.
