Lovely looking kettle. Very quiet boil most of the time depending how much water is in it! Having said that I’ve had 2 of the same previously, on both the plastic ‘on/off’ switch stops working at exactly one year old, bases were fine. Obviously a cheap design flaw. Have only repurchased as Argos in my local Sainsbury’s was the only place open at the time. Price has increased ridiculously, and will not be buying again in a years time.

I love this Jug Kettle, it's quiet, can be used with a small amount of water, so it's very quick coming to the boil. It's lightweight and the spout pores perfectly. Plus it looks good too.

Odd to like a kettle this much
Wouldn't have thought it of a kettle but I often use this and think of how much nicer it is than our old one. A lovely quiet but rapid boil and a weirdly satisfying pour! I also like that the window showing the water level is on both sides as the position of the kettle on our worktop is the reverse of most and with the window only on one side for many other models it's awkward.

Absolutely love it. Very quiet kettle. Lighter and smaller than our previous kettles. Very beautiful. I think this must be the best kettle I ever had. Our previous kettle was a Bosch make with temperature control. That was working for about 2 years and stopped working. Then another German kettle with temperature control was bought, but it was leaking and we returned it. We didn't go for a sophisticated one this time.
