About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Ottoman Bed gives you a place to sleep and room to store spare bedding, pillows or seasonal clothes you don't use every day. It's got a padded headboard and linen-look fabric upholstery that works in most bedrooms. Lift the end of the bed with the gas lift, and there's 650L of hidden storage underneath, ideal for clearing clutter and keeping your bedroom organised. Wooden slats support your mattress and let air flow through to keep things fresh. It'll hold up to 220kg, so there's solid support for everyday use.
The fabric upholstery has a linen texture that's easy to wipe clean and feels soft. The headboard's included and fixes straight to the frame, so you don't need to purchase anything separately. It sits low with just a small gap underneath, making it simple to vacuum around. The storage area inside gives you room for larger items like spare duvets or out-of-season clothing. Arrives flat-packed with everything you need, and it's easiest with two people putting it together. Comes with a two-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

Lovely Small Double Bed
My daughter’s 13th birthday is next month and I’m buying her as a present - upgrading her single bed to a small double bed. She’s very particular about style and design so after doing a lot of online searching this is what she likes best. It looks exactly like the picture – stylish and ecstatic (her words) with good storage. The delivery was great and the assembly was easy.

Great bed, I thought the small double might be a bit too small but it isn’t and gives me much more room in a narrow bedroom. It is a very solid bed with an easy to use mechanism.The mattress is comfortable and the storage is great, with very easy access. The fabric base enables ventilation throughout the storage compartment.

This mattress can hold a weight of up to 220kg, so if you were to use a 65kg mattress, people up to the weight of 155kg (24.4 stone) would be able to use it as well.
