Had this model laptop previously in a larger size and purchased simply because it had the sd slot for my camera's media cards. It's OK, seems to be a cheaper version of the one I had previously. But it does the job. Would have liked the option of a larger size or another model with the sd card option. I don't understand why you need to remove functions and data storage.

We may still be selling through some Windows 10S versions, hence why it still states that. You can upgrade them to 11 as soon as it's unboxed.
The OS is preinstalled.
