About this product
Block out unwanted light completely with this blackout roller blind in deep indigo that keeps your room dark whenever you need. Whether catching up on sleep during the day or enjoying a weekend lie-in, it stops light from streetlamps, passing cars, and early morning sun from disturbing you. The fabric delivers complete blackout for restful sleep or naps. It's simple to install and can be trimmed to fit your window perfectly. The mechanism fits either side, giving you flexibility when setting it up.
The blind comes with fixtures, fittings and clear instructions to get you started, plus it fits inside or outside your window recess or straight to the wall. It includes a P clip that keeps the chain secure and meets child safety standards, so it's safe for family homes. The fabric is easy to maintain with a quick wipe clean when needed, and any creases from packaging should drop out after 48 hours. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Bought this to replace my previous blind and to be honest I thought it was flimsy, the metal roller bar was very thin, the attachments kept falling every time I tried to fit it into the wall brackets. I wouldn’t buy one of these again.

I bought the 60cm blind to fit onto the back of a glass panel internal door to block light coming into a bedroom. It was easy to fit and just about covers the glass. I found this blind was a quick and economical solution. The blind itself works well, but feels quite thin and fragile. I would recommend it's good value for the low price paid.

The Argos Home Blackout Black Roller Blind - 60cm (708/4971) can be significantly trimmed in width to fit smaller windows, often up to 10–14 cm or more in total, as long as the fabric does not catch on the mechanism. The aluminum roller tube and fabric can be cut using a hacksaw and sharp scissors.

I can advise the following regarding the Argos Home Blackout Sage Green Roller Blind - 90cm.
The width measurement includes both the fabric width and the brackets.
The allowance for the brackets is 3cm in total and the blind requires 19mm fittings.
For the actual width of the blind, please subtract 3cm.
The item is supplied with 4 standard 30mm screws.
