The Argos Home Elmdon Comfort Kingsize Divan Bed gives you a ready-made sleeping setup that handles busy family life and everyday rest. It's a complete set with a kingsize mattress and matching divan base, so everything's sorted in one go. The mattress has 325 open coil springs inside that spread your weight evenly, with a medium feel that suits a wide range of sleepers. Soft quilted damask fabric keeps things comfortable, and it's a no-turn mattress, so you just rotate it regularly to even out wear.
The divan base comes in two pieces for easier delivery and sits on sturdy chrome feet that lift the frame off the floor. The durable fabric base supports the mattress properly and keeps everything stable through years of use. It's kingsize, so there's room for two people to sleep comfortably without disturbing each other. The grey finish works well with most bedroom colours. Matching headboards from the Elmdon range are available separately to complete the look. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended for setup. Comes with a manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Not a bad short notice purchase!!
I purchased this bed a month ago for a small spare room in my house, and after reading the reviews. Delivery was on time, and one of the delivery men kindly helped me take it upstairs. Assembly was very easy and took 15mins. I tried it out - the mattress is very basic in that the springs give very little support, a bit of a roll when you move on it, but strangely is comfortable to lie on!! Two overnight family members slept on the bed and had no complaints. I will put a mattress topper on for added comfort. The divan drawers work well with lots of storage and are a good depth, but can keep opening at times by themselves as the runners have nothing to stop them doing so. This really is my only complaint. Fits lovely in the space provided and for what l need it for. Just need a headboard now. I would recommend this if you are on a budget, assembles easily, and if you need something at short notice like l did. Not sure how long it will last long term , but it is only to used as a guest bed.

Flimsy and made cheaply
Poorly made of the cheapest materials. One of the joints was opened up, had to reinforce with a woodscrew. OK for an occasional guest bed (why we bought it) but wouldn't last long in use every day.

The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

It only fits onto one of the bases, but you can flip them round if required 180ª.
