The Argos Home Elmdon Small Double Divan Bed gives you a comfortable place to sleep and practical storage underneath. It's a complete set with a medium-feel open coil mattress and a divan base that keeps things tidy with two built-in drawers. The mattress has 264 springs inside that support your body through the night. Soft cushioning layers sit beneath a quilted damask cover that feels comfortable against bedding. The no-turn design means you just rotate it regularly to keep it in good shape. It's a small double size, so it fits into compact bedrooms where a standard double won't.
The divan base holds the mattress firmly and adds storage where you need it. Two drawers slide out from both sides of the bed, giving you space for spare bedding, clothes or anything you want out of sight. The base splits into two pieces, so it's easier to get upstairs or through narrow doorways. Chrome feet lift it off the floor and keep everything stable. The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

check the position to access the sliding storage
first bed delivered had a huge hole in the base, looked like it had been damaged in transit, quickly remedied with a call to customer service and a replacement sent without incident. Bed itself decent enough quality, but the sliding storage means the bed can only be positioned against a left hand wall as the headboard fixings are only on one end
