check the position to access the sliding storage
first bed delivered had a huge hole in the base, looked like it had been damaged in transit, quickly remedied with a call to customer service and a replacement sent without incident. Bed itself decent enough quality, but the sliding storage means the bed can only be positioned against a left hand wall as the headboard fixings are only on one end

small double bed.
this bed got delivered on time, but 4 casters were missing from 1 of the bases. we put the bed up and unfortunately the 2nd base is slightly lower than the other one because the casters are missing .I spoke to customer care who apologised and advised me that they would send out the missing parts. 1 week later I am still waiting so I will be speaking to Argos again. I hope this problem is resolved because otherwise I am pleased with the bed.

For the price obviously not top range but initially comfortable enough for a spare bedroom. Time will tell on durability. Very helpful delivery men 5 stars for them.

Bought as a spare bed it seems sturdy and comfortable although I haven’t slept in it. The sliding doors are very convenient for storage in a small room but they are rather stiff to open. We found it difficult to find the holes for the headboard and would suggest that they be made visible Overall quite good value for money.

The supplier has advised the following for the Elmdon Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Natural:
The base halves will need to be attached together using the U clips and the Chrome glides will need to be inserted in the holes on the bottom of the base.
If the customer has also bought the headboard, there will be stickers on the base to indicate were the headboard can be screwed into the base.
