About this product
The Elmdon Small Double Divan Bed provides a complete sleep setup with built-in storage, ideal for smaller bedrooms. It pairs a medium-feel open coil mattress with a two-drawer divan base, providing space to sleep and store bedding, clothes or pillows. The mattress has 264 open coil springs that evenly distribute weight. A quilted damask cover adds softness over cushioning layers for balanced comfort. It's a no-turn design; rotate it regularly to keep wear even. The divan base holds everything steady and lifts the mattress to a comfortable height.
The two storage drawers sit on both sides of the bed, giving you flexible access depending on your room layout. Each drawer provides useful depth for bulkier items like duvets or winter jumpers. Chrome feet keep the base stable and slightly raised off the floor. The divan arrives in two pieces for easier manoeuvring through doorways and up stairs. Simple assembly needed, two people recommended to lift and position the sections. The natural finish works with most bedroom colour schemes, and you can add a matching headboard from the Elmdon collection if you want to complete the look.

The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

check the position to access the sliding storage
first bed delivered had a huge hole in the base, looked like it had been damaged in transit, quickly remedied with a call to customer service and a replacement sent without incident. Bed itself decent enough quality, but the sliding storage means the bed can only be positioned against a left hand wall as the headboard fixings are only on one end

It only fits onto one of the bases, but you can flip them round if required 180ª.

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Elmdon Comfort Double End Slide Divan Bed - Grey castors and glides are for air circulation underneath the bed as well as ease of movement. It is possible to use the bed without them.
