About this product
The Argos Home Elmdon Comfort Small Double Divan Bed gives you a well-supported spot to settle in after a long day. It's a small double setup that pairs a medium-feel open coil mattress with a sturdy divan base, ideal for bedrooms where space is tight but comfort matters. The open coil design with 264 springs supports your body evenly through the night, while soft cushioning layers beneath a quilted damask cover add comfort without excessive sinking. The divan base gives you a solid foundation and lifts the mattress off the floor with chrome feet.
The base comes in two pieces for straightforward manoeuvring through doorways and up stairs. The mattress is a no-turn design, so you just rotate it regularly to keep wear even. The grey finish works well with most bedroom colour schemes. Arrives in three parcels with minimal assembly required, two people recommended for setup. Comes with a manufacturer's one-year guarantee.
The divan base perfectly complements the mattress, with its smart design, durability and practicality.
Pair with our stylish range of matching headboards, to complete the perfect look - sold separately. Design of mattress fabrics may vary to images shown.

Excellent value
I put this in my spare room so a few family members have slept in it and they have all said it’s the most comfortable bed they have ever slept in

Flimsy and made cheaply
Poorly made of the cheapest materials. One of the joints was opened up, had to reinforce with a woodscrew. OK for an occasional guest bed (why we bought it) but wouldn't last long in use every day.

Great size.
The bed is extremely comfortable. The mattress is not to soft. I'm 6ft 3ins tall and it's long enough and very wide for a single bed. Cushions my bad back perfectly. Springs perfect. Looks and feels it will last. Love the bed.

Real value for your money!
This bed and mattress combo is excellent value for money. I have two more drawers now(both great sizes) which are easy to access and the runners are smooth. The mattress is sprung and of medium support which is just right for comfort and I think, durability. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

Hello Bonita,
The supplier has advised the following for the Elmdon Small Double 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Natural:
The base halves will need to be attached together using the U clips and the Chrome glides will need to be inserted in the holes on the bottom of the base.
If the customer has also bought the headboard, there will be stickers on the base to indicate were the headboard can be screwed into the base.
