The Lightning to VGA Adapter supports mirroring of what is displayed on your device screen — including apps, presentations, websites, slideshows and more — to your VGA-equipped TV, display, projector or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD.

Did what it said on the box
Connected straight away with no problems. As my projector is fairly old I didn’t think it would work so I’m really pleased I took the chance and purchased this. As with all Apple products, it’s expensive but does the job well.

Exactly what it is meant to be
It is exactly what I ordered, but I cannot use it as I found out after ordering it that VGA does not support HD films. Therefore rather useless for what I needed it for. But quality product all in all, I should have done better research.

It Works
This one works great on my iPad 2. I have purchased a number of non-Apple products for screen mirroring over the years. Some work for a little while and then cease working (I think often because Apple finds a way to make them obsolete). If you are an Apple device user, stick with Apple equipment and pay the premium to ensure compatibility. Argos has a good price on it

After checking with the supplier, I can confirm this Apple Lightning to VGA Adapter cannot be used with a USB Flash drive as this adapter has no standard USB port.
This adapter is only for your VGA-equipped TV, display, projector, or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD.
