Mostly does the job
Bought to be able to connect external storage to my phone to transfer photos for back up. This allows me to connect a usb drive and transfer photos to it. I also have to connect the phone to a power supply but this device allows me to do this. Unfortunately it won’t support a portable hard drive. Have only put 3 stars for durability as not had it long so can’t really comment

Good kit but expensive
I needed this to hook up my midi keyboard to my iPad so that note recognition is more accurate when using Simply Piano. It worked, of course, being a genuine Apple product. But it’s a lot of money!

Hello SR,
I can advise the following for the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter:
Apologies, it has a USB-C and USB-A port on the adapter. You won't be able to charge with a Lighting connection.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello, from the information we have available, this Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter has two ports, allowing you to power the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter with a USB Power Adapter. You can also connect USB peripherals like hubs, Ethernet adapters, audio/MIDI interfaces, and card readers for CompactFlash, SD, microSD and more (that need an additional power supply). The Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (742/2674) doesn’t have this feature. Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
Hello Reuby,
From the information we have available I can confirm this Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter will fit early iPads that have a lightning connector. For the last five years+ Apple iPad has used a USB -C connector, so firstly you need to make sure which connector you have.
Yes, this will help you connect a hard to your iPad.
The reason this is larger it has two ports 1 to connect to a camera and the USB to connect to a hard drive, hubs, Ethernet adapters, audio/MIDI interfaces, and card readers for CompactFlash, SD, microSD and more.
Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter - 7422674 is a camera adapter only.
If your iPad does have the USB -C charging port then you will require the following adapter:

Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A
USB Dongles work on some Android platforms and Ant plus sensors will only work on Apple iPhone iPad using a Wahoo key which is no longer manufactured or NPE CABLE sensor or new WYUR sensor all which is ideal for indoor cycling apps such as Zwift, Rouvy or TrainerRoad. These work well within their own platform or as a bridge between Ant Plus and Bluetooth metrics linking USB to devices. The USB Lightning cable you refer to is for connecting a camera or peripherals to iPad or iPhone not Ant Plus
Hi Eli,
The Garmin Ant USB dongle is not compatible with the iPhone 11.
Thanks for using Q&A.
