About this product
The Argos Home Elmdon Small Double Divan Set gives you a comfortable place to sleep with practical storage built in. It's a complete bed with a mattress and divan base that works well in smaller bedrooms where space matters. The mattress has 264 open coil springs that provide medium firm support, paired with a 20mm layer of memory foam that moulds to your body shape. Soft cushioning adds comfort while you sleep. The divan base includes two drawers on the left side, so you can store bedding, clothes or seasonal items without needing extra furniture.
The mattress doesn't need turning, just rotate it regularly to even out wear. The knit cover has a quilted finish that feels soft and looks neat. Chrome feet lift the base off the floor and keep everything stable. The divan comes in two pieces for easier delivery and setup. Minimal assembly needed, two people recommended. It holds up to 203kg, so it's sturdy enough for most adults. You can pair it with matching headboards from the Elmdon collection if you want to complete the look, sold separately.

Checked maximum user weight before I paid. When it arrived I could tell it wouldn't last. One part of the base is broken only 2 weeks from delivery. Mattress is OK though

Good for the price
Seems good so far. Base looks solid although would have preferred metal attachments, instead of plastic, that I had with my last divan bed. Mattress is a bit noisy with springs making noise sometimes. Don't know if that's normal as not had a spring mattress in many years. Overall, the bed and mattress seem good for the price paid. Looking at double that price and more for a branded version of the same.

I bought 2 of these beds, for my great grandchildren, age 5 and 8 years old ,they are well made, the children love THERE'S, the beds are well made and look strong, also the benefit of the storage is great not so many toys are all over the floor, so pleased with them.thank you argos
