About this product
The Elmdon Memory Double Divan Bed gives you proper support where it matters, with a robust open coil spring unit offering medium firm feel and lasting structure. There's a 20mm layer of memory foam across the top that moulds to your shape as you settle in, backed by soft cushioning to ease pressure. The divan base comes in two pieces for easier manoeuvring through doorways and tight spaces. Two built-in storage drawers sit on both sides of the bed, giving you practical space for bedding, spare pillows, or extra blankets without needing separate furniture.
The mattress features 288 springs for even weight distribution across the sleeping surface. It's a no-turn design, so you only need to rotate it regularly to keep things even. The knit cover has a quilted finish that feels comfortable and handles daily use. Chrome feet lift the divan off the floor for airflow and cleaning access underneath. The divan base comes with minimal assembly, though two people are recommended to make positioning straightforward. Maximum user weight is 203 kilogrammes, so it accommodates most household needs. Checked maximum user weight before I paid. When it arrived I could tell it wouldn't last. One part of the base is broken only 2 weeks from delivery. Mattress is OK though

Good for the price
Seems good so far. Base looks solid although would have preferred metal attachments, instead of plastic, that I had with my last divan bed. Mattress is a bit noisy with springs making noise sometimes. Don't know if that's normal as not had a spring mattress in many years. Overall, the bed and mattress seem good for the price paid. Looking at double that price and more for a branded version of the same.

I bought 2 of these beds, for my great grandchildren, age 5 and 8 years old ,they are well made, the children love THERE'S, the beds are well made and look strong, also the benefit of the storage is great not so many toys are all over the floor, so pleased with them.thank you argos

Great as a spare bed
