My daughter was a bit unsure of this jacket to start with as she was only 2 and it's a snug fit. But she soon got used to it and was off swimming with me in the sea holding my hands.

My 3 year old granddaughters first trip abroad and under my supervision … didn’t need to worry at all, this made it an absolutely fantastic experience and took the stress out of going to the pools everyday
It helped my daughter in swimming pools when she got out of her depth but she still had to tip her head back to keep her nose and mouth out of the water. It could do with a touch more buoyancy but it stopped her from sinking.
Probably better for 4 rather than 5 depending on size/weight
I haven’t used this size yet but previously bought the same one in a size smaller. Has been perfect for swimming lessons and holidays. Used for my 2 year old and she’s gained so much confidence by allowing her to independently swim, which is why I’ve bought the same one in the next size. Would recommend
