This would depend on the thickness of mattress being used. On checking I can see the measurement from the floor to the top of the side rail is 40cm.

The slats on the Chile Single Wooden Bed Frame - Dark Stain have pre drilled holes however the bed frame itself does not. The spacers ensure the correct gap between the slats but the screws have to be screwed into the wooden frame to ensure a good tight fit.

The spacers are for separating the small logs that keep the mattress on the bed. The screws need to be screwed in to the bed, a basic screwdriver will do just fine, no need for electrical ones but if you have one it’d be a lot easier. The sides are screwed into both sides of the bed from the inside of the sides… the plan will tell you which screws to use. Ideally get someone for assistance.
Hello Lee. The Habitat Chile Single Wooden Bed Frame measures 97cm wide and 198 in length. So mattress that is 90cm wide will leave a gap either side of 3.5cm and a gap top to bottom of 4cm so this would be a good fit to allow bed linen to be tucked under etc.
