Too short, left me cold and wasted electricity
I urgently needed an electric blanket, sleeping in a freezing bedroom for months! My last was foot length, hot enough and stayed on until I switched it off. Therefore, I was shocked when I put this double underblanket on my bed! It was short! Not even foot length. Who wants cold feet in bed? Worse, it went off during the night and I woke up freezing. In addition, that wasted electricity until I switched off or removed the plug when I woke. My former electricity provider was aggressive and demanding, and the place is EPC D. I had to return it, after a call to the superb Citizens Advice consumer helpline (0808 223 1133). Argos helpfully agreed to a £32 refund. Thanks Citizens Advice and Argos!

I can advise that this can be left on overnight, however it is recommended that you do not fall asleep with it still on. It does not warm feet only.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Underblanket - Single.
All Silentnight products are suitable for use with an electric blanket. For items from other brands, please check compatibility directly with the manufacturer.
Regarding memory foam, Silentnight mattresses are safe to use with an electric blanket; however, please be aware that memory foam softens when exposed to heat. Allow it to cool fully so it can return to its original shape.
