About this product
An ottoman bed that helps you organise a bedroom and keep it tidy without losing floor space. It's a kingsize frame with hidden storage underneath that lifts open from the end, so you can store bedding, spare pillows, or out-of-season clothes within easy reach. The plush velvet fabric adds texture and warmth, while the upholstered frame and padded headboard create a finished look. Solid hardwood feet support the structure and keep everything stable. The sprung wooden slats provide even support for your mattress, and they're designed to hold mattresses up to 60kg.
The end lift mechanism opens smoothly and stays raised while you access the storage, no need to hold it open. Inside there's a fabric dust sheet to keep stored items clean and fresh. The internal storage area is roomy enough for duvets, seasonal clothing, or bags that would usually clutter a wardrobe. The headboard comes with all fixings needed for secure attachment. Wooden feet lift the frame slightly off the floor for airflow and easier cleaning underneath. It arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, and two people are recommended for assembly.

Fab bed, love it!
Very happy with this bed. Husband is a superstar and built it no problems (he is good at this kind of thing so don't know if it was tricky or not). It's a lovely bed, well made and the storage is fab. Lovely navy blue. Very happy with the purchase and it arrived much faster than the expected date.

Great bed but it’s not navy!
I love this bed but I wouldn’t have chosen it if the correct colour had been stated. We bought navy curtains so wanted a matching bed. The bed looks navy when you see it inside the wrapping but once you open it the colour is like peacock blue. It’s still a gorgeous colour but it doesn’t go with our room. We had to keep it though as we needed the bed quickly and thought of Argos because they are quick but unfortunately we had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered.

Ottoman bed
Lovely looking bed but the fabric base cover was too small, the slats don’t go to the end of the bed! I bought a new double Emma mattress also is too small for the base. Such a shame as I was expecting so much more.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Aspire Grant Weave Double Ottoman Bedframe - Mink.
The gap beneath the bed is 4.5 cm, which corresponds to the total height of the feet.
Please note that the underside of the bed is made of fabric, so placing items in this gap is not recommended as it could potentially damage the material.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspire Grant Velvet Kingsize Ottoman Bedframe - Navy:
No, the mattress would stay placed, the slat frame goes into the upholstered frame slightly preventing it from slipping off the bed. King size mattresses are usually fairly heavy and would take considerable strength to move.
Any UK standard King sized mattress which usually measures W150, L200 would be suitable.

The Aspire Grant Linen Double Ottoman Bedframe - Off White, requires a standard size mattress. This will be Length 190cm / 6ft 3in, Width 135cm / 4ft 6in. So yes this is fine.
