About this product
This ottoman bed adds storage to your bedroom without extra floor space. The lift-up base reveals a large compartment for spare bedding, pillows or seasonal clothing, keeping them out of sight but easy to access. Upholstered in hardwearing linen fabric, it features a hand-upholstered winged headboard with deep padding and a buttoned design for comfort when sitting up. Choose from three neutral fabric finishes. Solid hardwood feet provide a stable base.
The end-lift mechanism lets you open the storage area without straining, supporting mattresses up to 60kg. A fabric dust protection sheet keeps stored items fresh and clean. Sprung wooden slats provide even support for your mattress, and there's 3cm space underneath for cleaning. The storage compartment holds up to 1304 litres, enough for bulky bedding or out-of-season items. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, assembly recommended for two people. Decent bed. Needs improvement
Bought it because I needed storage space and a new bed It’s a nice bed although it does move side to side when lifted up and when down. I built this as instructed to a t. And till moves over all it’s a nice good bed just wish it didn’t move and I’d be happy.

Very heavy but solid!
Took a good 3-4 hours for 2 of us to assemble. Very heavy to lift the actual mattress/base when made but the bed is sturdy and solid and overall looks great. The video instructions were good but too quick, we would’ve appreciated paper instructions aswell even if they were pictures only.

Overall Sturdy, some improvement possible.
Bought king size, overall it is sturdy however some areas need improvement. 1. Some Parts updated but not reflected in the instruction. 2. The fabric handle is weak and made cheap, broke after few uses. 3. A bit wider than my mattress which leave some visual utterance. 4. Need two people to get it installed as you have to flip that in the middle

Looks beautiful
Bought for a first home. Was one of the most reasonably priced ottomans we could find with lovely upholstery. Looks great in our bedroom, not too short of a headboard. Took 2 of us 2 hours to assemble. Easy instructions.

Great bed, so pleased.
I searched for ages for reviews on this bed before I bought it, I think I came across two! I was dubious at first due to the lack of reviews but was worth the gamble. I've spent about 2.5 hours building the bed after it got delivered today, I'm very impressed. It's sturdy and looks great - I would recommend watching the YouTube video while reading the instructions! Loads of room for storage as well - I managed to fit the contents of my previous 4 drawer bed into a tiny corner of this bed! I laid on my bed once I was done and it's made such a difference to our mattress as well, it's completely lost all the sagging and feels firm again. Can't wait to go to sleep later!

Sturdy Bed
Very impressed with the quality of the bed, it took a while to assemble but it is very sturdy once all the fixing are fully tightened, would definitely recommend.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the CL Soho Twill Kingsize Ottoman Bedframe - Grey: The fabric base doesn't 'hold' the weight of any of the storage. It is fastened on with Velcro and is designed to protect the flooring as a cover.
