The Aspire Grant Velvet Ottoman Bedframe gives you hidden storage under your mattress where you can tuck away spare bedding, seasonal clothes, or anything you don't need within arm's reach every day. There's a large storage compartment underneath that holds over a thousand litres, so it's practical for smaller bedrooms or flats where wardrobe space runs short. The end-lift mechanism opens smoothly and supports mattresses up to sixty kilogrammes, so you can access everything without needing to remove the bedding first. A fabric dust protection sheet keeps your stored items fresh and clean.
The headboard's hand upholstered in the UK with deep padding and a vertical design that adds a comfortable lean when you sit up to read or watch TV. Solid hardwood feet lift the base off the floor and give it a stable footing. The upholstered frame comes in a choice of fabric finishes and colours, so you can match it to your bedroom style. Sprung wooden slats provide mattress support across the base. Arrives flat-packed with clear assembly instructions, two people recommended for setup. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

Fab bed, love it!
Very happy with this bed. Husband is a superstar and built it no problems (he is good at this kind of thing so don't know if it was tricky or not). It's a lovely bed, well made and the storage is fab. Lovely navy blue. Very happy with the purchase and it arrived much faster than the expected date.

Great bed but it’s not navy!
I love this bed but I wouldn’t have chosen it if the correct colour had been stated. We bought navy curtains so wanted a matching bed. The bed looks navy when you see it inside the wrapping but once you open it the colour is like peacock blue. It’s still a gorgeous colour but it doesn’t go with our room. We had to keep it though as we needed the bed quickly and thought of Argos because they are quick but unfortunately we had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered.

Lovely looking bed but the fabric base cover was too small, the slats don’t go to the end of the bed! I bought a new double Emma mattress also is too small for the base. Such a shame as I was expecting so much more.

Lovely beds
We bought two navy beds for our boys, it's been delivered as promised - no delay! Unfortunately I can't comment more, because we haven't put them up yet due to still building works ongoing. But I had a peak at them and they look lovely I am sure the quality will be great too!

middle metal bar in bed frame makes banging when leaning against bed frame. Put something soft over it and problem solved. Apart from that absolutely love the bed

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Aspire Grant Weave Double Ottoman Bedframe - Mink.
The gap beneath the bed is 4.5 cm, which corresponds to the total height of the feet.
Please note that the underside of the bed is made of fabric, so placing items in this gap is not recommended as it could potentially damage the material.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspire Grant Velvet Kingsize Ottoman Bedframe - Navy:
No, the mattress would stay placed, the slat frame goes into the upholstered frame slightly preventing it from slipping off the bed. King size mattresses are usually fairly heavy and would take considerable strength to move.
Any UK standard King sized mattress which usually measures W150, L200 would be suitable.

The Aspire Grant Linen Double Ottoman Bedframe - Off White, requires a standard size mattress. This will be Length 190cm / 6ft 3in, Width 135cm / 4ft 6in. So yes this is fine.

The headboard is one piece and is a structural part of the upholstered framing. It's not the sort with the slots in that just slides on.
