About this product
The Aspire Kelly Ottoman Bed provides a sleeping space with generous storage underneath. A hand-upholstered, deeply padded headboard adds support when sitting up reading or watching TV. Hard-wearing linen fabric resists everyday use and comes in five colours to match your bedroom. Solid hardwood feet lift the frame off the floor for stability. The end-lift mechanism provides hands-free access to a large storage area beneath the mattress, ideal for bedding, spare pillows, or seasonal clothing.
The storage area holds up to 1,263 litres and includes a fabric dust protection sheet to keep stored items fresh. The lift mechanism supports mattresses up to 60 kilogrammes, so you can open and close the base without straining. The upholstered frame sits on sprung wooden slats that provide flexible support for your mattress. It's UK-manufactured with solid design for lasting stability. Arrives in three parcels with clear instructions for self-assembly, two people recommended. Includes a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

A good buy
Very pleased with my Aspire bed overall, it was fairly easy to assemble ( the video was a great help) it's well made, good looking ,very comfortable and offers great storage space. The only drawback is that it is very heavy and larger than expected for a double sized bed.

Slats are awful
Bought this bed as wanted an ottoman for the storage, which this is good but the plastic sleeves and the wooden slats are awful. Every one of the plastic sleeves are broke and the slats just fall out so doesn’t hold… such a shame. Also bed was missing a hole for a corner to bolt into together so not 100% sturdy

cheap for a super king but get what you pay for
The headboard had a rip in the material so rather than send back ( as its really heave) we got a small discount. Putting it together was a bit of a nightmare, the fixings and supports are ok quality, however the struts are already loosening and the screws are splitting out of the wood supports. It is a really heavy bed and does the job . Just doesnt feel as solid as our silentnight king size bed we had for many years . Will see how long it lasts. Looks good when mattress and coves on though

Excellent Product but Instructions method awkward
The bed quality and build was as expected (very good), the only downside is the use of a video for instructions. In some ways this makes sense but you are constantly stopping the video, referencing the bit you are trying to build, rewinding to the appropriate point to check again which is a bit awkward in my opinion when trying to build a sizeable unit. Other than that a very good product given the price.
