This is the only candle I have had that burns off a lot of soot, even after trimming the wick, made everything around it black

Smells lovely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love buying candles. These are new to me and I find the wax is much softer than Yankee Candles which makes it harder to clean out the jar when throwing in the glass bin. The smells are lovely but I’m not to sure of the crackling noise they make, and I’m not sure if it will put me off them.

Wonderful fragrance.
WoodWick candles are so very elegant looking. Black Cherry is a wonderful fragrance, which fills the room, whilst burning evenly. Had to trim the wick almost to wax level, otherwise the flame would be too high, resulting in smoking. Other fragrances in this line didn't require such radical trimming.

Bought this candle purely for the fact it’s supposed to crackle, and I was left very disappointed when there was barely a sound to it. Smells good though
