About this product
This candle brings the warm, cosy feeling of an evening by the fire straight into your home. The rich blend of amber, vetiver and musk fills your space with sophisticated fragrance, while the wooden wick crackles gently as it burns, just like a real log fire. It's made with paraffin wax and features a patented Pluswick Innovation wick that creates that authentic fireside sound you'll actually want to stop and listen to.
The medium hourglass jar sits neatly on a shelf or table without taking up too much room. The wick's made from natural wood, which gives you that soft crackling effect throughout. You get top notes of Italian bergamot and apple peel, mid notes of golden amber and black oak, and base notes of smoked mahogany, vetiver and musk working together. Whether you're relaxing after work or setting the mood for a quiet weekend, it's the kind of thing that makes a room feel more inviting.

Excellent product let down by the wrong packaging
I bought this as a gift for a friend as this is her favourite candle. Unfortunately Argos delivered the candle in a "Yankee Candle" box, so we had to re-package the candle before gift wrapping it. Disappointed and puzzled by the packaging, but delighted with the candle itself. Had Argos supplied the candle in the correct box, this product would have received the 5 Star rating this product deserves.

Childhood toothache medicine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PRO: The size of the jar and the amount of wax that is included within it is fantastic. You get a fair bit for your money. And it looks and feels good quality. CON: This particular fragrance I didn't get on with. The smell of the candle right out of the box reminds me of a medicine my parents used to give me when I had toothache as a child and the scent heightens more so when lit. It's not nice at all to me.
