Cheaper and better than anywhere else
We bought a beautiful, fancy new outdoor light BUT it needs these light bulbs. B&Q wanted £9 for 1 bulb. I searched Amazon, Screwfix and other places and they either dont sell this bulb or expensive. Argos sell it in a pack of 2 and much cheaper. The bulb works and we are very happy.

I can advise that the Argos Home 7.8W LED ES Light Bulb - 2 Pack aren't compatible with the Argos Home Esmo Beaded Glass Flush Ceiling Light as it has LED bulbs built in so doesn't require a separate bulb.

Yes they can be used in an outdoor light, but only if the light you’re planning to use outside is suitable for outdoor use and is itself is waterproofed. (The bulbs themselves are not waterproof).

No, these are not golf ball sized. The supplier advises that you may wish to check out these ones here (which are golf ball size), cat no: 960/9763 and cat no: 961/1397.
