About this product
The Candy CSEC8LF Condenser Tumble Dryer has an 8kg load capacity and comes with 14 programmes, including 4 clever sensor dry options and a Timed Drying function. Perfect for a medium sized family, this dryer has been designed with style and practicality in mind. As a condenser, the steam is drawn into the condensing chamber where it is converted back into water. The condensed water is then collected right into the front water container.
Featuring clever Sensor Dry technology, this product allows you to set the level of dryness you require and the dryer then switches off automatically when this level of dryness has been reached. Choose from Store Dry, Hang Dry and Iron Dry! This not only takes the best care of your garments, but also saves time, avoids over-drying, and is kind on bills, using just the right amount of energy.
This dryer comes complete with Smart Touch Technology and you can connect this machine with your android smartphone. This will allow you to add additional programmes, monitor cycles and run diagnostics checks on the machine.
Super Easy Iron is a handy feature and ideal for drying a load with mixed fabrics. It creates the perfect humidity to minimise folds and make ironing as easy as possible.

Got it at the beginning of the month as a replacement for my old hoover dryer. So far so good, does what its supposed to do. Luckily I could collect the dryer from store the following day which was brilliant. The reason for the 4* rating is just because ive not had it long and still getting used to it and the settings but I guess once ive figured it all out it could possibly be a 5*

Inexpensive reliable tumbble dryer
Purchased some 3 weeks ago for my daughter as a replacement TD. I had a similar brand and model and more than satisfied with overall performance. More than enough programmes to ensure clothes etc are dried to the level required. Good middle of the road TD and an excellent Argos price. Reliable brand so more than happy with the purchase.

Smart Dryer
I bought this dryer a few months ago and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is ideal if you are unable to place the appliance near a window as it is condensing and collects all excess water within the appliance. It is loud though however not really a downside as all dryers are loud.

The condenser dryer does not have a filter in the drum like a vented dryer; instead, it has a condenser unit located behind a small access panel at the bottom of the machine

The supplier has confirmed the Candy CSEC8LF-80 8KG Condenser Tumble Dryer does not have a reverse tumble feature. It is designed for standard drying cycles and does not include a reverse tumble function.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Candy CSEC8LF-80 8KG Condenser Tumble Dryer - White: This model has 4 sensor dry options – unfortunately I do not have the information on the temperature for each level.
The highest temperature is on Extra Dry and the lowest temperature is on Ready to Iron.

Having checked the instructions, the dryer has the following programmes:
Super Easy Iron, Cotton, Whites, Mix & Dry, Synthetics, Shirts, Coloured, Baby, Jeans, Sport, Wool, Rapid'45, Relax Creases, Refresh.
There is also a customizable setting that interacts with the App on your android smartphone.

The supplier has advised the following for the Candy CSEC8LF-80 8KG Condenser Tumble Dryer - White:
"The actual depth on the product is 580mm – please note a gap is needed around the product for air distribution."
There should be a gap of at least 12 mm between the machine and any obstrubtions. The inlet and outlet should be kept clear of obstruction. To ensure adequate ventilation, the space between the bottom of the machine and the floor must not be obstructed.
