I think its MDF with thin laminate. The corners were chipped when I opened the box. The box had big dents on them but luckily the item wasn't broken. Again no online receipt given.

Found the boxes really effective for organising a drawer that has been a mess for a long time. Only thing I would change is the option to buy different combinations of sizes (smaller boxes less useful than the large and medium sized ones).
