About this product
The Bosch Serie 6 Athlet is a proper cordless stick vacuum that runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge and weighs just 3kg, so it's easy to carry between rooms or up the stairs. It's got SmartSensor Control that adjusts performance depending on what you're cleaning, and the rechargeable lithium-ion battery takes around 6 hours to fully charge. The motorised floor head drives the bristles into carpet pile to lift out ground-in dirt, and side suction helps with edge-to-edge cleaning along skirting boards and into corners.
The ProHygienic Filter System removes 99.99% of allergens, fine dust, and bacteria with triple filtration, ideal for allergy or asthma sufferers. The All Floor High Power Brush works on carpets, deep pile, wool, hard floors, laminate, upholstery and stairs without swapping heads. The 0.9l dustbin reduces frequent emptying, and a low battery indicator shows when to charge. It features power boost mode for tough messes and a Rotation Clean system to clean the filter without washing. Running at 81 decibels, it includes a combination floor nozzle operating at 28 volts.

So easy to use
For someone who is in her 80s, the light weight and easy way to move around is so worth this purchase. It picks up all different kinds of dirt and the 3 levels of speed gives me good choices where a carpet or rug.

Lots of umph and an easy filter clean to boot
My wife and I have this for approximatly two weeks now and we have found to be the best Bosch to date having had leser voltage models. Being 28V it has more umph, yes it sucks and beats better as we both found on what we thought were clean carpets. Prevous models had a washable filter, this is better because you have a simple nob to turn which scrapes off the muck into the container for placing in the bin. The air output is considerably cleaner to due to siome fancy secondary filter. For any model of battery powered vacumn to be considered is run time again this one excels again.

Product was not what I thought. I attachments (my mistake not reading description) and also wouldn’t go underneath furniture to hoover as too high. Argos was disgraceful when I explained and would not accept return as I had switched it in and there was a speck of dust inside. Today I was annoyed is an understatement. I will never buy electrical goods from Argos again. The aftercare is disgraceful. I had to keep. £150 vacuum that I can’t use. I went to Curry’s and bought a different one and will do so again in future.

5 🌟 based on cordless vacuums only. I've had my fair share of lithium battery vacuum cleaners across all the main names. I would go as far as to say this is the best so far. Like that all of the weight is low down as the body is at the bottom not at the the top in the handle. This allows it to freestand which I love. Very simple to use as there's only 3 functions; suction no brushbar, suction with brushbar and max suction and brushbar. In suction without brushbar it is so quiet, the quietest I've ever heard. This is used for delicate hard floors. It doesn't actually feel like it's working it's so quiet but it's OK for hard floors. Function 2 with the addition of brushbar is my default and I pretty much use it everywhere including hard floors. It's a bit noisier but has very good cleaning ability. I use function 3, the turbo mode for our stairs. It's so powerful the carpet actually starts coming up. I really like the simple and easy maintenance. Easy to empty the collection bin, easy to clean the do not wash filter by clicking the red click gadget back and forth and easy to clear the brushbar by pressing the brushbar clip. So easy I pretty much keep on top of maintenance every time I empty the collection bin. I find the battery to be adequate but still best in it's class. A few very minor gripes. No tools with this version but I don't really need them and it's less to lose and find. The manual is very thick but has very little detail due to being multilingual. I think that's it. The best cordless so far.

Effective and quiet
The Bosch 28V rechargeable battery Hoover is a great product. It has 3 choices of speed which is adequate. The Brush is Strong with a Bagless holder.

The dust container is at the front of the machine. Push in the release button then lift and pull the container, then remove the filter, then empty. . Please see diag 12/13 on the instructions. A link for the instructions has been provided below.

I can advise that the filter can be removed, any debris or dust is wiped off manually, then the filter is put back.
