Ring Alarm Range Extender

Whilst it can be plugged into a garage it wont do anything if you dont have the ring alarm, this range extender is a z-wave range extender which is designed to extend the signal for the ring alarm and the alarm accessories contact sensors, motion detectors etc. it does nothing for the doorbells or cameras

I can confirm that this range extender has a 76m range so this would be possible however it does need to be plugged into a mains socket.

How argos staff have ssd this is compatible with ring doorbell! It clearly says alarm range extender... its limited to alarm as the alarm worked on z wave. Doorbell ad other cameras workout on wifi. Slightly different.

My Ring door bell was slow at loading the picture now Ive put the extender closer to the door bell it loads in no time at all.

If you live in a very big property, the various Ring components may be out of range of each other's signals. In that instance, this can be used to extend the range and keep distant devices connected.
