Really easy to set up and add extras to. You can set up different alert tones for your door sensors so you know which door has opened without having to open the app or get up and check. Great for if your cat has learnt how to open doors!

i bought this alarm system as there has been a load of break ins in my area recently found this was very easy to set up and easy to use through the ring app or the keypad has a very loud home base siren built in to it no false alarms either very pleased with it may buy outside siren would highly recommend

From the information we have available, I can advise the Ring 5 Piece Alarm Kit (2nd Gen) includes an indoor siren that sounds when the door or window sensors are triggered. This means if a door or window is opened while the system is armed, the siren will activate to alert you.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring 5 Piece Alarm Kit (2nd Gen):
You are able to set your own motion sensitivity via the Ring App, motion detection range on Ring devices is up to around 30 feet with the Motion Sensitivity slider at the maximum level. If you turn Motion Sensitivity down, this range will be lower.

Thanks for your query about the Ring 5 Piece Alarm Kit (2nd Gen).
You can arm and disarm it via the app remotely from your phone, so this is possible while you are on holiday as long as the phone has the Ring App installed and access to the internet at the location you’re at.
The user manual says this too: “Disarming will cancel your alarm signal” and also: “In an emergency, if you want to silence the alarm without canceling the alarm signal, tap the Silence Siren button in the app”.

Yes, there is a test mode that you can use to test sensitivity when pets are in the room without an "intruder". This will allow you to set the correct strength.
