I am a telephone engineer, I buy these for customers all the time. All the features & not too complicated. Big screen, loud speaker, answer machine, ring room to room. Plug the main unit into your digital voice router / phone socket, the rest work wirelessly. Don't mix and match, if you need 4 handsets in total, buy a set of 4.

With this Cordless BT phone I have now gone from one telephone socket to phones in four rooms. One plugs into the phone socket and the other three in simple 13 amp sockets. I can answer a call on any phone, make calls on any phone, access the phonebook on any phone, add a number to the phonebook on any phone and use 'Hands Free' on any phone.

The supplier has confirmed. The BT 4600 cordless telephone with answer machine does not have a redial facility. It features a last number redial option, allowing you to call the last number dialled, but it does not include a redial function for calling back to the same number after a missed call.

Hello, from the information we have available, yes the main base unit of this BT 4600 Cordless Quad Telephone (with Answer Machine) can be connected to a Sky Router. If your router has a standard BT phone line port, simply plug it into that. If your router has a RJ-11 port, you can use a RJ-11 to RJ-11 cable, or use a BT phone line to RJ-11 adaptor. You can either set it to Announce all calls not saved in your Contacts list. The caller then has to say their name after the tone and wait to be connected. Or set it to Answer phone. All calls not in your Contacts or Allowed list are then sent straight to the Answer phone, including those on your Blocked list. You can block up to 1000 numbers on this phone.
