Mechanical issues
After 3 days internal fan was banging against the casing making it noisy & potentially dangerous Lovely fan while it was working. Hoping to get another one without any issues, fingers crossed

Compact & Powerful
All round great little unit, Powerful & heats the room quite quickly, would be even better if the cable was longer because it needs to be plugged straight into a wall socket.

Quick room heating solution
I picked this fan heater up as I wanted something that I could use in short bursts to heat up rooms that I was in or would be using. I did see reviews mention that this heater due to the fan, was not that quite which is true. However my use case for the fan had me only using it for ten or twenty minutes, before turning off again. This provided enough heat for me to not have it in constant use.

This item is a very big improvement in design. The handle is such a help if I need to move it.

Good, but pretty loud
It's a 3kW heater so does a good job in heating up rooms reasonably quickly (what we needed whilst our boiler had broken in winter). My gripe is that it really is pretty loud. They could have at least put little rubber feet on it to quieten it slightly from some vibration noises (as they didn't, it's also useless on hardfloor, it'd not only be loud but also move around). One main point of having a fan is to direct heat at people directly, but then that purpose is defeated by it being a bit too noisy (e.g., TV has to be pretty loud when fan is on). In retrospect, I should have just got a quiet but powerful radiator heater without fan, as we tend to now just use this to heat up a room in prep before going in. I guess fan could be useful for quick drying of clothes too. If you don't mind the noise, though, it's well-made and heats the room well (obviously, as 3kW).

Hello Rose,
The supplier has advised the following for the Dimplex Q3TSO 3kW Oscillating QubeFan Heater:
“ It is roughly 58dB which is typical for a fan heater/ electric fan in this category. Just to put in a context it is just below normal conversation level in noise terms. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Elaine

I hope this helps

Hello Lois,
I can confirm this heater is 3000watts which is 3kw. This means it would be 3x your hourly electricity energy rate. For example, if your rate is 25p per kWh then this heater will cost 3x 25p = 75p per hour.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A
