About this product
The Bissell SpotClean Pro is a proper emergency spot cleaner that tackles unexpected spills and stains wherever they happen. It's a handheld carpet cleaner with powerful suction, so it lifts away spots from carpets, area rugs, stairs, upholstery and car interiors using water, Bissell detergent, and the included cleaning tools. It's portable enough to carry around the house or out to the car with the built-in handle, and the long cord gives you plenty of reach without constantly moving plug sockets.
The clean and dirty water tanks are generously sized, which means you can tackle several spots before you need to refill or empty. The large tough stain brush works brilliantly on everyday spills, while the smaller tough stain tool gets at set-in stains on stairs and upholstery. The hose lets you reach awkward areas, and there's a safety cut-out indicator to let you know when the tank is full. It comes with a carry handle for easy transport, plus a sample bottle of Wash & Protect Pro detergent to get you started.

Got it used it the following day on the stairs while the wife was at work. I did half of the stairs then left the rest to see if she would notice. When she got home she was going upstairs to get changed came back in and said there’s something weird going on with the stair carpet. One section looks dark the other looked light she asked me if it was the light causing it then I told her that I had cleaned the bottom half. From old carpet to new after washing it. Totally amazing over the moon with the result. Wish I had bought it earlier great machine easy to use instructions easy to clean at the end and a great price. Worth every penny. Easy to carry and is very mobile.

Spot clean Pro
The spot clean Pro is ok i wouldn't recommend it. It's not very good at all the suction not very good. The only plus is that its small. It drys the carpet ok finally.

Purchased this as a replacement for a vax, it holds way more than the vax machine so less filling up, super long lead and really simple to fill and empty, Well worth the investment.

Better than expected
This spot cleaner cleaned the carpet (living room and stairs) well on the few occasions I have used it. The last machine I purchased from a different well known brand I couldn't remove any hair that got stuck in the brush tool but with this machine it is easy to remove the parts for cleaning. Also it is quite compact which helps with storage. I would recommend this cleaner to others.

No, the Bissell SpotClean Pro Spot Carpet Cleaner does not have a self clean. Please see the details below from the manual on how to clean this appliance:
1. Remove and rinse the tools in clean,
running water. Dry and replace in the tool
storage provided.
2. It is recommended that you suction clean
water from a bowl to rinse out the hose. Then
lift end of hose and stretch out to ensure all
water is cleared from hose.
3. Coil flex hose around the hose wrap and
secure with latch.
