You say a little delay in cooking times. Theres is a significant delay in cooking times for example especially when boiling potaotoes. It takes far longer than my previous bush hob cooker. My previous cooker dod not do this and the hob glass was completely fine so i dont get the explanation regarding the hob heating up and cooling down in this model. Surely it shud say this in the item description so we know before buying!! As i say it is not a little delay in cooking times in my cooker!!!
It doesnt say in the desription that the hob does this. This really affects cooking times and slows cooking down. Also the oven is not fan assisted either. Surely it should have said this in the description regarding cooking times. If i had know this information i would not have purchased this cooker at all!!!
Hello, In regard to your query for the Bush B60TCWX 60cm Twin Cavity Electric Cooker - White; When ceramic heaters are operated in higher heat settings, the heated areas may be seen switching on and off. This is due to a safety device which prevents the glass from overheating. This is normal at high temperatures, causing no damage to the hob and little delay in cooking times.
