The rug is very thick and feels luxurious to walk across. However the colours do not really match the photos online, so I was a little disappointed when I first saw it. That said it doesn't look out of place in a white room so that wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Designers say that rugs can be layered over carpet if they are low profile and not a high-pile carpet as the rug will not have a firm grip or support, causing the rug to shift and wrinkle.

The supplier has advised the following for the Quentin Wool Shaggy Rug - 140x200cm - Multicoloured:
The packaged dimensions of the rug are 145cm (length) and 20cm (diameter), it's rolled up so it's basically a cylinder shape.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Quentin Wool Rug - 170x240cm - Multicoloured: It is rolled width wise. For 170 x 240 cms size, the length of the roll will be 170 cm and it will fit in the car.
