This wooden train set lets children build and rebuild their own town layout. It comes with 60 pieces that fit together in different ways. The chunky wooden pieces are easy to grip and move about. The set includes 21 track pieces, a plastic bridge, 4 vehicles, 4 buildings, 4 people, 6 bushes and trees, 2 traffic lights and 12 road blocks and signs. It encourages creative play and helps develop fine and gross motor skills as children arrange the pieces.

Grandson aged 2 1/2 years loved this toy. Too young to put the track together but loves playing with it.

Lovely set and well made
This is a well made lovely little set. The pieces stay together when played with. The magnets hold the train and carriages together well too. My 2 ½ year old grandson loved it but the play value was short lived. He normally loves vehicles and track but I think he needed a bit more track and vehicles. It is fairly small. We may add to it at some point with some of the other sets.

Perfect gift for littlt ones
Purchased this set and a track extension kit for my grandson. He was absolutely thrilled with it and plays with it evey day. The build quality is both safe and good. The supplier has advised the following for the Chad Valley Wooden Train Set - 60 Piece:
The space between the two grooves for the wheels is 19.5mm, so the inner edge of the wheels of any train you use would need to at least that. The outer edges of the grooves are 25.5mm apart so the wheels cannot be set wider than that.
