About this product
The Argos Home Paolo Leather Mix Rise and Recline Chair gives you a comfortable spot to sit back, put your feet up, and get help standing when you need it. Press a button on the handheld remote control to recline the backrest as far as you like, and the footrest lifts to support your legs. When you're ready to get up, another button raises the chair to bring you to your feet. It's designed for anyone who finds standing from a seated position difficult.
The deep padded cushions are filled with pocket sprung foam that supports daily use. The black leather mix finish combines top grain leather with faux leather for a smart look that wipes clean after everyday use. The chair's mains operated, so there's no batteries to replace or charging to remember. Minimal assembly required, and it comes with a two year manufacturer's guarantee.

Brilliant recliner.
Bought this to replace the old one I had, bought original about 8 years ago and the cushions on seat and back were getting flat, it's a brilliant chair, really sturdy with it's metal frame, you can angle the recliner to any position, has the option to help raise you out the chair so ideal for people with mobility issues. Well cushioned. Chair is regularly on offer with 20% off which makes it a real bargain.

Quite firm which I like. Has a couple of areas that could be better. Riser does not go straight and level, legs pointing down. Controller button has nowhere to be fixed. Spends most of the time on the floor. Could have spent a few pennies to fix a minor irritation. Overall reasonable price for what you get. Ask me in a couple of years for a final decision.

If you look closely at the video at about 16 seconds in, it does show the Home Paolo Leather Mix Rise & Recline Chair - Ivory rising slightly to assist getting up out of the chair. This is best viewed on full screen to appreciate the benefits.
